The Banking Business Unit is responsible for leading Cash & Lending Program as a strategic firm priority, and ensuring branch teams and clients have a consistent supply of high-quality banking products that reflect client needs and are aligned with our advice and guidance.

The Insights & Reporting Manager will be responsible for designing, building and maturing insights & analytics capabilities of the Banking Business Unit, to enable fact and insights-based decision making and product management approach. This role will also work closely with Firm Analytics COE to collaborate on best practices and executing business priorities.

*Responsibility Summary: *
* Develop business relationships with Banking team and Firm Analytics COE to gain insight to information and determine required reporting based on need.
* Able to quickly demonstrate domain expertise in Edward Jones' data management systems and tools, and be able to identify and overcome issues related to data integrity and accuracy.
* Participate in cross-functional teams responsible for Cash & Lending Program and Banking Business Unit in support of firm program and business objectives.
* Create, run, modify, and improve standard and on-demand ad hoc reports as needed to support the objectives and operations of service receivers.
* Present business measurement reports in concise and storytelling formats that make it easy for the reader to "connect the dots" on key messages
* Educate associates and leaders across the Cash & Lending team on measurements concepts and best practices.

*Qualifications Required in the Job: *
* Bachelor's degree, with computer science, data science / analytics background
* Series 7/66 required or attainable within six months of hire.
* Proven understanding of data analytics visualization tools.
* Banking or brokerage experience preferred.

*Minimum Years of Experience Required *
* Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience

*Functional knowledge *
* Basic knowledge of Cash Management and Lending products concepts.
* Ability to utilize various information sources and analytics tools to identify relevant information needed for decision making and tracking.
* Ability to prepare reports and statistical data for use in the formulation of guidance and recommendations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing and presenting analysis to Banking Business Unit, as well as responding to requests from FAs and various internal departments and committees.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to express ideas and research.
* Effective in using various database tools and resources to gather, organize and display financial information for evaluation or inclusion in reports and presentations.

*Problem Solving: *
* Excellent critical thinking skills necessary. Ability to assist in the solving of complex, non-routine problems. Requires extensive fact-finding.
* Ability to audit/trouble shoot reports and processes to ensure accurate and timely results.
* Ability to assist with the implementation of agreed upon solutions within area of responsibility.
* Ability to collaborate well with associates and leadership within the department
