From the casual commuter to the ride-or-die road warrior, everyone depends on an Automotive Technician to make sure their Point-A-to-Point-B journey is on point. Then, there are a rare few who are so accomplished at auto tech that they work on fleet vehicles, getting them ready for auction action. *What Youll Do*




This is more than just auto service. Its an endless swimming pool amusement park of opportunity! Connecting with customers, with new employees, with management - youll be as plugged in as a charging Tesla. This is an upper-level gig, providing high quality maintenance and repairs on Manheim fleet vehicles. Youll take good care of customers and everyones bottom line. Some days youll fly solo, other times, youll be part of a well-oiled team machine. Either way, you got this. Heres a rundown of other responsibilities for this ride:




*Responsibilities:*




Conduct service requirement diagnosis on vehicles.




Schedule and assign work under direction of service facility management.




Advise and oversee service personnel work assignments.




Work with management to monitor work volume, prepare work plans, and


keep leadership advised of any issues.




Train service personnel.




Provide orientation to new employees.




Perform quality checks control on completed work.




Monitor parts and supplies inventories, and order stock as needed.




Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and always in working


conditions.




Know and follow all safety procedures.

*Qualifications:*




*Minimum:*




Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.




Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment.




Valid drivers license and safe driving record.



*Preferred:*




High school diploma or GED.




Ability to obtain Class A or B Operators License if required.




Valid state inspection license.




A.S.E. Master Certification.




3+ years of vehicle repair experience.




One year of customer service experience.




Good organizational and communications skills.




Exhibit strong leadership and customer service skills.




Detail oriented.





*Physical requirements:*




Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, bend, kneel,


crouch, squat, climb, and tolerate excess noise levels and car exhaust.


Able to enter and exit vehicles frequently.




Vision requirements: close, distance and color vision, depth perception


and ability to adjust focus
