For this role, we are seeking an Enterprise Marketing Partnerships Director to join our strategic sales team, partnering with OEMs, Dealer Ad Associations, and their ad agencies. Youll have Cox Autos industry-leading brand, content, editorial, analytics and more in your toolbox, and must be driven to maximize shopping outcomes on behalf of your clients. Youre ideal for this role if you are passionate about taking a data-driven approach to managing client success, feel comfortable constructively challenging assumptions, and can rally internal and client stakeholders to execute across multiple tactics and platforms. Essential job functions include:




* Inspire and challenge our clients to create a media strategy that drives performance and a consumer experience shoppers value through thought leadership and strategic client-centric insights

* Translate the client goals and vision to a media strategy including budget allocation, brand strategy, KPIs, and T1 - T3 message alignment.

* Build and maintain client-centric media mix and brand insights by assessing the client landscape, competition, and brand development.

* Develop and maintain an ongoing strategy to maximize client campaign performance leveraging our Kelley Blue Book, Autotrader, and Dealer.com properties, audiences, content, creative templates, and more.

* Attain revenue targets as determined by Cox Automotive Management, through new sales and revenue retention of existing sales.

* Analyze performance data against targets to identify opportunities for improvement, adjusting strategy to maximize performance.

* Maintain and build close multi-level relationships at both the OEM and agency. Promote Cox Auto as a valued partner through proactive, clear and convincing communication of our value propositions, solutions, insights, performance data and research.

* Entertain OEM and agency clients at events, lunches, golf, etc. in order to build relationships in a non-vendor setting, weekly as needed.

* Remain current on industry trends or news and be a marketing expert to inform both client-facing and internal strategies in addition to client marketing innovations.

* Partner internally (Account Management, Analytics, Editorial, Product, Legal, Operations and Executive Management, etc.) to maximize client success.


Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree combined with 5-10 years equivalent work experience in a related field of account management for media; or eight to twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Deep understanding of automotive business, including automotive retail/marketing, and experience with OEM and Dealer landscape.

* Ability to build and maintain solid client relationships with a high level of professionalism.

* Advanced skills in all forms of negotiation. Challenger Sales experience a plus.

* Able to analyze data to synthesize conclusions and recommend solutions

* Proven success at meeting sales goals and objectives.



Technical Aptitude:




* Experience with Salesforce.com. Experience with Tableau or other analytics platforms a plus. Must have proficient personal computer skills including email, PPT, Excel, etc.



Communication Skills:




* Polished and professional, interpersonal, and communication skills - oral, presentation, and written.

* Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a positive, energetic attitude.



Organizational Skills:




* Strong time and project management skills, above-average ability to multi-task proactively and in response to issues as they arise. Proven methods to manage self and others (both clients and colleagues) adept at problem-solving, able to follow processes, flexible to creatively develop solutions and workarounds as needed.



Professional Integrity:




* Ability to employ a high degree of discretion in dealing with confidential matters; conduct professional interactions with respect; can overcome resistance (in self and others) and demonstrate an ability to compromise when needed; strive for excellence.



Reporting Relationships and Contacts:




* This position reports to the Sr Director, Enterprise Marketing Partnerships. There is an expectation for this role to work independently while providing internal customer/stakeholder service and exercising sound judgment. This position regularly interacts with all levels of the client and internal organization
