Auto req ID: 235243BR Job Description Automation Team: The Automation COE Commercialization Team delivers cutting edge solutions against complex Warehouse and Packaging Engineering challenges. Tied closely to the broader SC Technology and Engineering team, the Automation COE Commercialization Team has a collaborative feel that embraces an innovation mindset, a bias for action, result orientation, customer and community focus, and a prioritization of people. Job Description: This position will support concepting, developing, and commercializing automation systems and equipment. The selected candidate will interface with various levels of the organization and work collaboratively across multiple business teams and functions. This role requires a strong skill set of software integration experience, vendor interface verification, and validation of robust design. Will be responsible for prototype and pilot execution and acceptance for our planned applications and solutions. Accountabilities: Support SCTE Automation agenda in Warehouse and Packaging depts Translate SCTE Automation strategy into actionable work plans and deliverables including the return, risk, technology and capability investment, customer growth and KPM impact Align resources and support your team to execute the agreed strategy to deliver Best Class performance Work closely with equipment vendors to concept, develop, customize and commercialize automation solutions Lead generation of comprehensive specifications Develop robust test plans and execute thorough validation of the system and/or equipment Lead design review sessions with cross-functional partners to vet out the automation solution Define scoping of application and systems to meet functional, software, and business requirements Lead pilot testing at PepsiCo facility Lead robust commercialization of the automation solution Positively influence at all levels within and outside the organization as a thought leader Provide direction to diverse groups such as IT, external vendors, and OEMs Providing insightful analysis of business results to senior Supply Chain Leaders on performance and ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem-solving and business improving recommendations Travel - 30%-40% typical, Project Phase Dependent Qualifications/Requirements BS Engineering or relevant Degree 5+ years of professional experience Strong Data management skills Understanding of logic required to integrate multiple subsystems together Experience in system level validation testing / problem-solving Exposure to industrial networks controls software and MES Ability to cross-functionally partner with and influence/inspire key decision-makers in the organization Ability to lead and drive an agenda through the vendors and organization to deliver results Innovative and Independent thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels internally and external vendor Relocation Eligible: Eligible for Standard Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
