Auto req ID: 231582BR Job Description PepsiCos AIOPS Journey is driving the demand for IT Operations automation solutions. We are looking for an SRE Automation Architect who enjoys and thrives on solving complex problems through automation & innovation impacting change at scale in a diverse environment. SRE Automation Architect will join a focused team of SREs introducing and advancing SRE discipline across several hundred applications and multiple vertical lines of business supporting the entire company. The SRE Automation Architect will work with business leadership, partnering across platform teams, development teams, product owners, scrum masters, and with other technology centers of excellence to establish and prioritize the automation goals for engineering new solutions (automated and procedural) to improve platform and application stability, performance, staff productivity, metrics and reporting. Accountabilities: Develop and oversee the engineering of automated solutions to improve platform and application stability, performance, staff productivity, metrics and reporting Design, build, deploy and maintain engineered solutions through collaborative efforts with team members and third-party vendors Collaborate with other teams within the Enterprise to design and create effective solutions Partner to influence and support innovation & continued drive towards automation, touchless operational sustainment as a design/architecture construct working with AIOPS technology partners/managers Introduce automation enterprise capabilities, tools, and innovation improving availability in a multi-cloud ecosystem by evolving observability, monitoring, logging, continuous testing (performance, smoke, regression, functional, chaos), standardization/automation, capabilities to conduct destructive and resiliency testing Evolve AIOPS, ChatOps, NoOps introducing self-healing and autonomic capabilities solving for complex operational and systemic issues with precision including building and training models, automating cognitive processes, leveraging Robotic Process Automation, Unified Communication, and AI/ML to improve the availability of products we provide to customers Automate key SRE metrics and IT Service Operations processes including customer impact, % availability of critical business flows, SLO/SLI adherence, error budget, automate the incident process for IT Service Operations through data integrating with unified communications, alerting/notification systems, and evolve ChatOps to reduce time to recovery Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field required; masters degree preferredExperience: 10+ years of IT technology experience, with clear leadership success and strategy development 10+ years of Leading, Developing and Delivering automation implementation and integrations 8+ years of experience identifying opportunities, analyze issues, design automation solutions and integrate best practices for the multi-functional SRE area 5+ years of relevant cloud experience inclusive of engineering and architecture design principles, organizational methodologies, infrastructure implementations, application development and software engineering functions for automation integrations 4+ years experience use of Python, Java, Go, Phyton, C/C++, Rhino for automating repetitive tasks, prototyping automation, and testing 4+ years of design, implementation and governance experience with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning architecture Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred, particularly in a global environmentProven technical expertise in one or more of the following: OS and Platform Azure, PCF, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, VMware, AWS, Cisco, Infoblox, F5, Palo Alto. AIOPS: Moogsoft, Big Panda, UiPath, ServiceNow Integrator HUB, Looms, Robotic Processing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Frameworks Automation/self-heal capability enablement & Observability and AIOPS: DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Elastic, Kibana, Kafka, CloudWatch, Jaeger, Zipkin, Kinesis, Apache Airflow, Focus Run, TWS, SAP Solman, Nimsoft, WebLogic, Tibco, ELK, AppDynamics, Splunk Operations Tools: ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Tableau.
