We are seeking an Audience Engagement/Demand Generation Manager for Global Events. This role designs, develops, delivers and measures marketing campaigns to inform, excite and drive behavior and engagement for Global Events programs. The ideal candidate has a collaborative mindset, is skilled at navigating a highly matrixed organization, is focused on quantitative results, and is deeply committed to continuous innovation.

What Youll Do

As part of the Audience Engagement Marketing team within Cisco Global Events, youll be part of a team of event marketers supporting a broad portfolio that includes proprietary, third-party, and executive events. Responsibilities include:

  • Create and scale demand generation, attendee communications, and digital strategy plans for in-person and digital events
  • Partner with Product and Regional Marketing teams to deliver campaigns that optimize targeted follow-up and conversion of event leads and opportunities
  • Create and execute marketing plans to meet registration and sponsorship goals for revenue-based events
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, web, and digital assets, including identifying opportunities to optimize performance
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding program execution, results, and impact
  • Develop, execute and measure targeted marketing campaigns to support audience acquisition for proprietary and third-party events
  • Develop and deliver integrated communications plans across multiple audiences (attendees, stakeholders, etc.)
  • Integrate event marketing campaigns into Always On Journeys and relevant marketing activities
  • Drive deployment of event websites

       7-10 years of experience in a digital and/or customer relationship marketing strategy role, preferably with a digital marketing agency, technology/email service provider or client-side experience

       Strong knowledge of and experience with enterprise-class digital/email marketing, execution best practices, technologies, vendor ecosystems, and industry trends.

       Background and experience with industry/vertical events is a plus or cross topic

       Marketing automation, pipeline, nurture program experience preferred

       Knowledge of and experience with sales enablement programs and tech stack

       Experience managing email, social mobile, search and/or affiliate programs

       Understanding of customer relationship marketing concepts, strategic frameworks, key metrics, and tactical approaches to driving customer acquisition and retention.

       Knowledge of customer segmentation and modeling approaches a plus.

       Ability to extract actionable insights from large data sets, create impactful visualizations, and tell compelling stories through data.

       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality decks and present with confidence to senior marketing leaders.

       Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced setting.

       High intellectual curiosity, drive, and pro-activity.

       Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
