Pharmacy technician role assisting in Pharmacy Transition of Care Services (RxTOCS) and supporting the consultant pharmacist team with skilled nursing facility audits.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Complete transition of care services in the nursing facilities -will require multitasking and frequent physician, nursing, and pharmacist communication
  • ""
  • Face to face medication interview to nursing facility residents
  • ""
  • Assist pharmacist in delivery of pharmacy recommendations and provider outcome responses
  • ""
  • Completing monthly audits designated by the facility and pharmacy management including but not limited to controlled substance audits, medroom/medcart inspections, facility education, policy and procedure reinforcement and education
  • ""
  • Reviewing facility IV waste tracking process and findings
  • ""
  • Reporting trends and findings to management team on a regular basis

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • High school diploma/GED or higher
  • ""
  • Active/valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada
  • ""
  • 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
  • ""
  • Moderate proficiency with computer/Windows PC applications and typing, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • ""
  • Able to work7:00 am - 3:30 pm or OR 8:00 am to 4:30pmMonday through Friday
  • ""
  • Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to various facilities within the Las Vegas valley
  • ""
  • You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
