  • Responsible for multiple patient engagement functions in the clinic setting including check in, scheduling/confirming appointments, assisting patients with completion of paperwork, managing medical records, verifying eligibility, updating patient information into computer system, screen and route incoming calls.

Required Qualifications:

    ""
  • High school diploma or GED
  • ""
  • 2 years front office medical assistant in a busy Primary care physician setting seeing all ages of patients including pediatric
  • ""
  • Experience with P4P and 5-Star
  • ""
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • ""
  • Familiarity with all aspects of a medical front office, patient registration, insurance eligibility, collecting copayments and daily batch reconciliation, scheduling appointments, handling medical records, comfortable with high incoming call volume
  • ""
  • You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role.

  • Employees are requiredto screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.
