The Associate Manager of Commercial Data Partnerships will be a key strategic role responsible for identifying, recommending, strategizing and executing best of breed data sources and data sets that align with PepsiCos Commercial organization data and digitization use cases. The Associate Manager will be the primary interface for day-to-day interaction with internal customers and stakeholders in the Commercial organization, external partners as well as other teams within the Data and Analytics function including but not limited to Business Engagement and Value Realization, Data Acquisition and Optimization and Product. As an integral part of our Commercial Data Partnerships team, this role be focused on developing and executing high profile and high impact data partnerships. This role is critical to shaping the success and impact of Data Partnerships team on the PepsiCo business and will contribute to developing the strategy, operational as well as go to market planning around Data capabilities and assets identified by the Commercial Data Partnerships Team. You will be the expert on data ecosystems and own corresponding value creation opportunities. The ideal candidate will combine skills and experience in Data products, business development and deal structuring to execute this role successfully. Key Accountabilities Partnership Strategy Utilize an intimate understanding of the data marketplace to provide thought leadership and identify partnership opportunities Contribute to construction of business model frameworks for all data-related partnerships Serve as a data subject matter expert of our current/planned Data Products Identify and evaluate new business partnerships as well as predict/manage the evolution of partner relationships Support building compelling business cases, think strategically and act on ideas, and effectively present these ideas to the leadership team Deliver sizeable ROI and business impact with every partnership Collaborate with tech and product teams to inform product strategy, design and roadmap to ensure optimal fit with customer needs Maintain POVs and relationships with best-in-class partners across markets Data Enablement - Partner + Internal Operations Establish data availability baseline and identify data gaps in the Commercial organization Identify and engage with data providers that align with use case needs Support designing and executing a Data Partnership Program for Data capabilities and products identified by the Commercial Data Partnerships Team Lead and manage data partner integrations, pilots and POCs, coordinating milestones, timelines and key deliverables across PepsiCo, data partner and media partners Partner with Business Engagement and Value Realization teams to ensure proper positioning of our data offerings in the workplace (e.g., cross-functional collaboration) Help manage identification, communication, and evaluation of potential data partners with key business and technical stakeholders Establish seamless transitions and handoffs to rest of D&A Team to stand up solutionsData partnerships - Impact and Scaling Manage data partner life cycle from selection, negotiation, legal and use Utilize data insights to define measures of success with each partner relationship Drive acceleration of data application against use cases Support Global scaling encompassing markets of varying data maturity Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications Minimum 5 years data partnership experience Minimum 5 years experience managing data purchases within and across budgets and other cost centers as well as experience shaping multiple detailed multi-cost center purchase orders Minimum 3 years experience in CPG goods industry experience, or related Minimum 3 years team leadership experience Bachelors Degree, Masters a plus Commercial, Legal and Regulatory knowledge and expertise with respect to Data Partnerships and usage. Experience: Demonstrated analytics skills and use of multiple software tools Experience in risk and legal reviews of vendor contracts and licensing agreements related to external data Work effectively in a team environment and develop creative alternatives Skills, Abilities, Knowledge Negotiations Strategic Contract/Account/Vendor Management Robust data knowledge preferably around PepsiCo data and Product, Customer, Partner, Public, IOT, and Digital data sets Proven ability to drive results and to lead and implement complex, technical, multi-organizational projects at senior leadership level Relocation Eligible: Not Applicable Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
