Auto req ID: 245845BR Job Description The Innovation Governance Team leads the end to end Innovation Stage Gate approach which enables holistic portfolio management, project readiness and post launch evaluation to facilitate Innovation success. It is part of the broader Commercial Planning organization and influences the development and execution of the portfolio vision for PepsiCo North America Beverages (PBNA) across all channels. The Innovation Governance Team provides guidance and direction cross-functionally for the development and execution of all Innovation, Graphics Changes and Promotions for PBNA Retail. It is also responsible for communicating full program details to Field Sales, Marketing and Bottlers, Trade Sample production and distribution, as well as metrics tracking and data analysis associated with Innovation. Using consistent guardrails for all Brands, the Governance Team strives to accelerate Innovation launches while minimizing risk. The Associate Manager of the Innovation Governance Team will be a critical day to day cross-functional contact for Stage Gate execution. Responsibilities include: Stage Gate (Innovation Development Methodology) Create comprehensive pre-reads for Stage Gate Keeper assessment ensuring documentation timeliness, quality and completeness through direct interaction with the Brand Marketing teams (Note: Stage Gate Keepers are Sr. level executives) Capture Stage Gate notes & follow-up with teams on Stage Gate open issues to ensure project progression Systems Management Manage Innovation Stage Gate inputs and outputs to ensure compliance with global & cross-functional mandates. Represent PBNA on weekly meetings Provide tactical implementation direction for system enhancements for Stage Gate simplification, effectiveness and efficiency Leverage system data to increase compliance with project teams Maintain Stage Gate move status in the system to enable timely project management Determine/build relevant reports/scorecards and conduct analysis with actionable insights to influence portfolio decisions with the Stage Gate Committee Commercial Alignment Review (CAR) / Division Presidents Council Determine agenda and build out pre-reads for Division Presidents Council. Maintain excel spreadsheet to capture feedback and alignment status Division Initiatives Own Local Promotion Process (LPP) manage internal/external workflows in the system. Act as key contact to troubleshoot and problem solve to avoid National Initiatives overlap. Develop, maintain and distribute black-out calendar to inform field sales of available time slots. Train new users. #LI-USA Qualifications/Requirements Job Requirements: Bachelors degree, MBA Preferred Minimum 3 years experience in project management and analytics within CPG or Retail Ability to pull data and draw actionable insights Ability to work fluidly in a team environmentSkills Required: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Big picture perspective - Ability to connect the dots, to understand functional dependencies i.e. how one action impacts another Good transaction, interpersonal and communication skills to work cross-functionally and train cross-functional partners. Patience & Flexibility. Strong project management, good organization and attention to detail.
