Prudential seeks an Associate Manager to contribute to the strategic planning and tactical execution of financial and corporate communications activities including financial earnings, M&A and other transactions, executive visibility for financial leaders and corporate change management. The Associate Manager will work with a variety of subject matter experts and corporate function partners to advance Prudentials financial narrative for internal as well as external audiences.


Responsibilities

  • Create and update communications materials, including but not limited to, briefing presentations, talking points, messaging toolkits and press releases.
  • Support the execution of quarterly financial earnings materials including press releases, Q&As, leader emails and internal employee content.
  • Partner across the enterprise with leaders in Finance, the Chief Investment Office, Risk and the Businesses to construct and execute holistic (internal & external), multi-channel communication strategies.
  • Project manage key initiatives, including but not limited to, M&A processes, strategic plans and calendar creation, creative brainstorming and materials creation, internal and external research and insights, trend identification and storyline development and multi-media outreach (earned, owned, social).




Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in complementary or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience; PR agency or financial communications experience is a plus.
  • Candidates with prior finance industry experience who can demonstrate a strong interest in a communications career are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong project management experience and exacting attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure, deadline driven work environments.
  • Graceful and versatile writer.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Strong interest and curiosity about business and financial news and trends such as economics, ESG, shareholder activism, M&A and asset management.
  • Experience developing media storylines and pitching media, or a strong desire to learn, is a plus.
