This position will partner with business groups across the firm to determine strategy, design and develop the firm's processes, products, systems and tools, and ensure implementation and adoption by the firm, branch teams and clients in compliance with industry rules and regulations. This work is dynamic and requires the ability to look beyond the tasks and specific legal questions to understand the goals of the business and aid in getting to the best solution.

Candidates should be highly motivated and knowledgeable about the industry and the firm. The position requires an aptitude for continual learning, demonstration of intellectual curiosity by asking questions and connecting work across multiple initiatives, ability to identify and mitigate risks in new and evolving areas of law, as well as proven skills in project management and an ability to influence firm leaders.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide leadership to firm programs and projects to build and enhance firm processes, products, systems and tools and mature already existing programs while ensuring there are sufficient controls and security in place.
* Identify risk and consult with subject matter experts to ensure business objectives are met.
* Navigate complex issues and partner with peers and leaders within and outside the legal division to connect initiatives, advise on impacts to the firm, and develop best practices for executing key firm initiatives.
* Partner with business areas to bring perspective, create solutions and use sound judgment to determine next steps.
* Effectively communicate and share information across the organization.
* Manage a workload that is large, diverse and complex.


* Requires J.D. and license to practice law in Missouri or an equivalent state
* Requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility as an attorney in private practice, in the public sector or in an in-house counsel capacity
* Regulatory and industry experience is highly preferred, litigation experience is very helpful
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex matters
* Sound judgment, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
* Creative thinker who is highly organized and has exceptional prioritization skills
* Ability to be proactive and drive matters to conclusion
* Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated project management experience
* Strong cross-function collaboration skills
* Demonstrated ability to convey complex issues to legal and non-legal professionals, including senior leadership
* Commitment to a high level of ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable to changing priorities
