Our AT&T Defense & National Security organization supports our Nations Defense and Intelligence Community, operating and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of intelligence operations.

AT&T has an opening for an Associate Director- Operations Deputy Program Manager (PM) to support an existing contract for an Intelligence Community program with a strategic mission assuring the installations, operations, and maintenance of critical voice and collaboration telephony services.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**

AT&T has an opening for an Associate Director-Project Manager:

The Operations Manager/Deputy Program Manager (Ops Manager/DPM) is responsible for providing tactical and technical support to the Director Program Manager (Executive PM) and serves as the backup point of contact to the customer during the Directors PM absence.

The Ops Manager/DPM focus will consist of:

1. Monitoring and controlling project activities throughout the entire lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, and close)

2. Delivering on-time product and telecommunications services according to the customer requirements.

3. Tracking and managing the completion of programs project milestones and deliverables according to the statement of work

4. Working at the customer premises with the role of operational interface with technical customer staff involved in the programs implementation and execution efforts.

5. Interfacing with the Billing Team PM, who works primarily at the Oakton, VA office overseeing the billing operations (ordering & processing of account changes, updates, and payments for services).

Other responsibilities for the Ops Manager/DPM include:

+ Assisting with the onboarding/offboarding of personnel supporting the program; check-in process, account access, security protocols, etc. at the customer facility.

+ Attending review boards and assisting senior engineers in determining technical solutions as required. Providing technical and program briefings to the customer as required.

+ Ensuring all work performed is of high quality, done within the allotted funding, timing, and staffing constraints of the program.

+ Monitoring and tracking risk management: raise awareness about risk, issues, concerns, and offer possible mitigations. Identify critical dependencies and technical issues.

**Required Skills, Experience, and Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Program Management, or related discipline required and/or 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, Telecommunications and Program Management.

**Management Skills:** This position requires an individual who is customer oriented and mission focused. Ability to effectively work with internal/external program stakeholders as part of a larger management team responsible with executing the contract deliverables and maintaining program operations. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and knowledge of US contracting & acquisition practices a definite plus. Must be a strong leader with the ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships with highly technical staff.

**Clearance:** US Citizen with Current TS/SCI and polygraph (#topsecret) (#polygraph)

**Certification(s):** Desired: Program Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (current/active) and a masters degree in technical discipline strongly desired.
