Xandr Inc. in El Segundo, CA is looking for an Associate
Director to collaborate with cross functional project stakeholders to
understand and to prepare detailed project specifications and deliver final
solutions. Perform end to end data processsing steps involving data selection,
data extraction from different databases, using SAS datamarts, Teradata, and
Hadoop, for data cleansing, data pre-processing to create data admin consistent
datamarts ready for reporting and analytics. Corelate metrics using statistical
methods such as correlation matrix to determine the most relevant metrics
affecting the KPI under examination. Conduct predictive modeling, statistics,
trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and
identify the right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources to
explain or predict behavior and/or solve a variety of business problems,
generate or maximize ad revenue. Develop/build models to predict
outcomes/behaviors.Collaborate to
understand client requirements and to document client requirements, business
intelligence architecture, and business intelligence solutions. Perform key
functions using Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS/MACRO, SAS Enterprise
Minor, and Excel Reporting. Develop SQL to extract and manipulate data by using
advanced SQL logic such as windowing and summary functions. Develop models
based on regression and decision trees by employing Python and R to predict
outcomes. Perform data analysis-descriptive, exploratory, and inferential- to
determine underlying trends and relevant factors affecting business problems by
performing correlation matrices and dimensionality reduction analysis. Extract
web engagement data using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google
Analytics, and Comscore to run A/B tests. Design concept testing studies with
appropriate sample sizes to determine statistically significant effects, using statistical
tests ANOVA and t-test, for newly recommended services/products and perform
post-product analysis of the same. Perform root cause analysis to determine
reasons for any observed differences in metrics and develop weekly and monthly
dashboards using Tableau. Create summaries by applying advanced querying logic
as well as other techniques such as merging, sorting, lookup techniques using
SAS products. Oversee two employees.



Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics or Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience using SAS datamarts, Teradata, and Hadoop; and developing/building models to predict outcomes/behaviors.
