The Enterprise Projections, Process, & Capabilities team within the Enterprise Valuation Stat and ALM group is responsible for working with multiple business partners within and outside of Actuarial to:

  Drive the development of capabilities to support full financial projections (including balance sheets and income statements) for the Actuarial domestic BUs.

  Enable other groups within Actuarial to utilize those projections to proactively develop insights and analysis to influence and drive business decisions, and,

  Support the ALM Prime Agile pilot to further develop data warehouse and ALM capabilities.

  Support the IAM Agile pilot to further develop asset modeling capabilities.

The Associate Actuary Enterprise Projections, Process, & Capabilities team, is a position that will play a key role in the development of fixed product modeling capabilities in support of reporting, forecasting and decision making.


  Collaborate with Enterprise Capabilities to convert IA, ILI, Group AAT models from MG-ALFA to Axis.

  Perform UAT of Axis modeling solutions developed by the Enterprise Capabilities.

  Drive innovation and use of new capabilities and improvement of analytics.

  Provide User Acceptance Testing to support ALM Prime Agile pilot.

  Provide research and testing for IAM Agile pilot.

  Ensure adherence to appropriate corporate governance, controls, and documentation policies/procedures.

  Be an active participant of Prudentials actuarial community.



        Bachelors degree is required

        Associate of the Society of Actuaries designation (ASA) strongly preferred, with at least 3 years of actuarial experience

        Experience in model development and validation is a plus

        Experience with GGY AXIS is a plus

        Superior technical skills (Excel, SQL, VBA)

        Knowledge of the ILI and Group business is a plus as is knowledge of asset modeling

        Strong oral and communication skills

        Strong organizational and teamwork skills
