    The Network Services Business Unit (NSBU) was created to accelerate the transition of Ciscos portfolio to as-a-Service and consumption offers. The NSBU team works across all business units, and with an extreme sense of urgency, to enable the rapid change required to almost every part of Ciscos business. To be successful in the NSBU environment, you will be excited by the opportunity to solve some of Ciscos most critical transformational challenges.

    What Youll Do

    You will appropriately utilize existing platforms as component parts to the new strategy, while working toward a truly cloud-native and scalable as-a-Service technology approach, which will provide a greatly improved end-to-end customer experience. The successful candidate will have technical knowledge of the market-leading cloud providers and their services.

    The role is expected to develop knowledge of Ciscos current and future as-a-Service portfolio to support execution of the key strategies defined by the NSBU leadership team. Key success criteria include the ability to quickly prioritize technical and business requirements into a fluid roadmap to manage business partner expectations using relevant tools like Aha.

    Who Youll Work With

    You will work closely with the As a Service Integration Director, NSBU Product Managers and Engineering, Customer Experience (CX), Sales, other BUs, Operations, IT, ET & I Innovation Leaders, Partners, and Customers.

    Who You Are

    To ensure success the As a Service Integration Product Manager will possess:

    • 10+ years product management experience in a High Tech, cloud-focused, multi-regional environment, including demonstrated technology and cross-functional business experience
    • Knowledge of cloud networking industry and the various players along with emerging networking architectures like Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience executing against defined product requirements and roadmaps
    • Strong knowledge of market and industry pricing strategies, GTM/RTM/TAM for network software platforms, and consumption models for modern cloud-based network solutions
    • Strong executive presence, concise communicator, and ability to effectively manage in a cross-business unit environment
    • Broad understanding of Ciscos Portfolio of platforms, products and services, customer base, and organizational structure
    • Demonstrated flexibility when managing conflicting priorities and excels working in a very fast-paced environment

    Pivotal responsibilities are:

    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for lifecycle management of existing offers
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and feature roadmap
    • Define and prioritize core use cases, supported by customer and competitive research and sales insights while using market research, competitive analysis, and business metrics to inform direction
    • Write user stories and drive agile product planning with engineering
    • Define initial proofs of concept in partnership with engineering and integrate findings into the product roadmap
    • Assess the market opportunity and forecast projected revenue and market share
    • Partner with UX to build an and end-to-end product experience that is simple to deploy and easy to manage
    • Evangelize the product strategy internally with sales, engineering, other product organizations and externally (with customers and partners)
    • Partner with appropriate Business Units to identify and prioritize internal Cisco product integrations
    • Drive customer adoption through all phases of the product including pilot, beta, and launch
    • Support assessment of the current state of the Secure Agile Exchange (SAE) business, including the architecture, engineering process, and customer commitments
    • Possess keen knowledge of the competitive landscape and customer adoption trends for better risk and viability analysis
    • In conjunction with the product management team, work with CX and other BE engineering leads to define high-value alliances, cross-solution alignment, and integration opportunities for the broader portfolio and in support of platform rationalization
    • Define, identify, and socialize project success metrics to the internal team and to external partners; evaluate project progress and results against success metrics
    • Build an environment of trust, that encourages people to innovate and lead through complexities
