The Application Support Analyst provides support to the end users of the Allscripts Enterprise PM, Allscripts Enterprise EHR, Allscripts Scan, Patient Portal and Secure Video software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

""
    ""
  • Provide end user application support primarily via phone and may also include email, and/or instant messaging to remote practices and patients
  • ""
  • Document, track and monitor end user application issues in enterprise help desk call tracking system (ServiceNow) to ensure timely resolution
  • ""
  • Work with System Administrator(s) to prepare for and test new releases
  • ""
  • Become reliable source of software knowledge for resolving end user application issues
  • ""
  • Become reliable source of compensation and quality metrics for guiding end users on proper documentation workflows
  • ""
  • Work with System Administrator(s) to document, research, and submit enhancement requests and software bugs to vendor
  • ""
  • Assist clinical end users and project team/help desk with issue escalation and resolution
  • ""
  • Participate, as required, in project and company meetings to further team and company goals
  • ""
  • Provides operational support and system monitoring duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • ""
  • 1 year of experience troubleshooting clinical or healthcare applications
  • ""
  • Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting
  • ""
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ""
  • Understanding of MS Office to include Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • ""
  • Ability to work 9:00 am 6:00 pm eastern
  • ""
  • Ability to work a weeklong on-call shift
  • ""
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • ""
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
