About the Role

* This position is based in Dallas, Texas or in Raleigh, North Carolina
* Fastest growing team in the sales department
* Mission is to generate net new business & expansion of presence in enterprise accounts and mid market accounts
* Balance maniacal pipeline generation while running tight sales cycles from start go finish
* Successful reps are scheduling & running 8-10 meetings per week with at least 25 net new business meetings per quarter
* Sales & engineering partnership that executes a detailed & proven sales methodology 
* Collaborate with customers & prospects to clearly define current challenges & pain related to achieving overall business objectives
* Ability to travel when opportunity permits: 40%
* Rapidly expanding team emphasizing internal promotions throughout sales org
* Our accelerators are uncappedwhich is nice

About you
* You were a top 10% performer at your last company.  Every single one of our current reps were
* You have 3-8 years of related industry experience
* You have an affinity for Value based selling vs. pumping out 70+ transactions per quarter
* You embrace complex deals & understand the difference in a POV vs. POC
* Doubling the amount of your companys employees in 12 months doesnt scare the heck out of you

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Uncover, identify and qualify business opportunities
* Build a pipeline of potential business and accurately forecast on a weekly basis
* Develop Strategic Account Plans with detailed GTM strategy leveraging AppDynamics via Ciscos dominance in the SP Market
* Prepare formal proposals and assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW)
* Present to executive levels of organizations
* Sales process and tools
* Educate Senior Executive team on market demands and competitive analysis
* Coordinate complex decision-making process
* Overcome objections to closure
* Maintain strong knowledge of AppD & Cisco strategy and technology initiatives
* Help accelerate multiple routes to market through your SP Accounts by maintaining relationships with AppD, Cisco and you SP Partners Direct Sellers

Position Requirements/Qualifications:
* Five years of experience selling Enterprise level Services and Solutions.
* Strong knowledge and experience dealing with "C" levels within Service Provider Vertical
* Consistently demonstrated meeting and exceeding quotas
* Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Experience in developing embedded managed services which greatly increase value of SPs existing solutions
* Able to lead complex sales process, value creation and contract negotiations
* Working knowledge of Sales tools, strategy, qualification and execution
