Your challenge (should you choose to accept it):

As part of the AppDynamics team youll enable our customers to focus on building features rather than troubleshooting issues. Every day, we help our customers proactively prevent application issues and slowdowns and expedite the root cause analysis of those issues. We make the war room a thing of the past by mapping applications end-to-end, in real-time, from the user's end device, all the way to backend applications and databases.

About the Role:

As a Channel Account Manager, you will be focused on improving the growth and expansion of AppDynamics and our products by developing broad and deep alliances with key partners in your region. You will be responsible for working with existing partners to grow their AppDynamics business and practice, while also targeting new partners to build a shared vision and partner plan. The goal is to drive new opportunities in the region by jointly engaging in the field.

It is important that each team member in our organization can pivot, be dynamic, and wear multiple hats if needed. A successful Channel Manager at AppDynamics will be deeply sales oriented, with a broad understanding of the partner community and able to influence at all levels.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing channel team and will have a significant impact on the overall business of AppDynamics.

About You:

  • You are an assertive leader with strong relationship and negotiation skills.
  • Admired for your strong, dynamic presentation skills.
  • Extensive experience and a validated, demonstrable, track record in driving incremental growth through partner relationships.
  • Ability to understand partner business priorities, finding opportunities for the creation of value for Partners, Customers and AppDynamics
  • Successful enterprise software and consultative selling capabilities at C-level in both Partner and Customer environments
  • Good organizational skills, capable of handling tactical items while never losing sight of longer-term strategic goals
  • Proven track-record of doing business with the channel ecosystem.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the channel business plan through strategic partners (measured against revenue targets) in region
  • Identify and target key strategic partners across the defined territory
  • Engage partner alliance teams, inspiring and influencing them to partner with AppDynamics and deliver joint customer
  • Develop shared business plans with key partners, collaborating with other functions within AppDynamics to build a strong partnership
  • Manage revenue targets, marketing, and field engagement
  • Enable sales and technical capability within the partners
  • Build AppDynamics' visibility and traction within all levels of the partner organization
  • Drive AppDynamics sales teams to work on/support alliance partner opportunities
  • Report forecast and activity accurately to Director of Channels
