About the Role

Our growing Renewals team is responsible for ensuring post-sales success and retention of our existing customers, driving renewals for North America. Our Renewal Account Managers are the face of AppDynamics to our clients, and valued within the company as essential contributors to our continued growth. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest companies in the world, including many Fortune 500 accounts.

You will:

Ensure successful retention and renewal of approximately 100 existing accounts in your assigned territory, collaborating closely with Pre-Sales Account Managers.

Successfully understand articulate the value of our product to technical and non-technical buyers.

Maintain relationships with existing clients through regular check-ins, identifying new business opportunities and selling new services.

Decide when and how to collaborate with sales and technical teams to resolve client issues.

Attend our annual Sales Kickoff and some trade shows including team lunches, and quarterly team off-sites like sporting events - all paid for by the company.

Grow a career with the chance to move up in the Renewals team or transition to our premier Sales organization.

About You

Are you intelligent, coachable, and person of strong character? If so, you are probably a fit for our team! Below are some specifics:

3+ year of Customer Success/Renewals Account Management, Sales Development (SDR) or Business Development (BDR) experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company.

Dedication to success and growth. This is a quota carrying role and we want people who want to achieve their personal best every single day, and exceed it.

Knowledge of consultative sales process techniques and strategies.

Proficient in excel and calculating different quote options

Organized and detailed oriented

A willingness to take constructive feedback and grow from it. We all make mistakes, its how we learn from them that sets us apart from others.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
