About the Role

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will deliver world class post-sales technical leadership to our client base working directly with customers as dedicated specialist on Application Performance Management as a practice and AppDynamics.

You will be delivering value by driving adoption of our App iQ platform across the clients infrastructure.

Finally, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to share your knowledge and experiences to ultimately improve our business and our customers success.

About You

  • 10+ years technical IT experience in a strategic, decision making capacity.
  • 5+ years experience deploying Enterprise Software Solutions.
  • Good understanding and experience of common web application architecture frameworks, distribution mechanisms and messaging components based on Java and .NET
  • Experience and competence working with Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems including shell scripting
  • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
  • Passionate about programming
  • Ability to work with multiple clients concurrently
  • Readiness to travel up to 50%

Key responsibilities (What do you do?)

  • Actively drive value realisation of AppDynamics Software
  • Increase operational use of AppDynamics across customer environments
  • Mentor AppDynamics practices
  • Identify training gaps and opportunities for expansion and enhancement
  • Drive a Strong Enablement Program

Desirable Skills:

  • Customer-facing experiences such as a pre-sales or consultancy or experience in APM
  • Understanding of the application performance management space or hands-on experience on AppDynamics is a bonus
  • Working knowledge of storage area networks and virtualization technologies
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or other cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of basic networking components and concepts
  • Experience with web servers and common relational databases used in todays application architectures and an ability to understand SQL.
  • Proficiency in German language is required

Education:

      Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar, or equivalent technical experience
