What You'll Do

This exciting product marketing position has a unique opportunity to shape our fast growing AIOps solution while being part of a transformational team at AppDynamics, part of Cisco. We have a big opportunity ahead of us and were looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive messaging and positioning in key parts of our cloud solutions portfolio. Youll also direct integrated GTM planning and execute cross-functionally with product and sales teams.


Core to this role will be communicating AppDynamics vision, market leadership, value proposition, and differentiation for cloud solutions. This marketer will help craft product positioning, market messaging and collateral, and develop joint value propositions with Cisco and strategic cloud partners on how our products are differentiated. The Product Marketing Senior Manager will support global product launches and ensure all teams are launch-ready, with the opportunity to define how we communicate our product strategy to the market and all necessary internal teams.


Responsibilities

Develop compelling positioning and messaging, targeting key personas and industries in our AppDynamics solutions that help with migrating, monitoring and optimizing applications in cloud platforms.

  • Be the product marketing solution specialist on microservices, containers, orchestration tools and cloud computing platforms and keep a close eye on competitors.
  • Translate value propositions into impactful sales enablement content, including pitch decks, case studies, sales sheets, videos, collateral, whitepapers and more
  • Partner with demand generation teams on the development of campaigns and content
  • Be a customer advocate; make sure customer content is included in anything and everything we do in marketing
  • Deliver demos, technical content, and thought leadership presentations
  • Build and maintain content on our website
  • Spearhead content and programs that foster AppDynamics thought leadership in the industry, resulting in higher brand awareness
  • Represent the company at hosted client events, partner meetings and industry conferences
  • Work closely with regional PR teams as an industry thought leader and AppDynamics spokesperson
  • Drive alignment with other Cisco business units and product integrations

About You

The right candidate will have enterprise SaaS marketing experience and know how to support and accelerate the enterprise sales cycle with inspiring content. You are proficient in translating technical features into clear and concise benefits and are familiar with IT personas and industry trends. You are an excellent writer, spokesperson and presenter, with the marketing acumen to translate your expertise into compelling content across multiple channels. You will need to deal with complexity and nuance, think fast on your feet, and demonstrate credibility with a variety of audiences ranging from the app developer to IT operations to sales.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in cloud, IT and/or software/SaaS SaaS technologies
  • BA/BS (preferably in computing, business, engineering or a related field); MBA preferred
  • Proven subject matter specialist in microservices, containers, orchestration tools and cloud computing
  • Demonstrated ability to execute cross-functionally with sales, marketing and product organizations
  • Proven track record in developing highly effective sales presentations and collateral
  • Experience driving a product launch end-to-end
  • Experience with public speaking and presenting
  • Able to work on their own, to get stuff done.
  • An expert collaborator, able to influence teams and convey ideas clearly, from a strategic perspective.
  • Passionate about technology, its impact on business and the world around us.
