This is a pivotal time to join the Innovation Labs team at AppDynamics. We are a small, close-knit, fast moving, and highly adaptable team with expertise in Product Development, Business Analysis, Research and Design. About the Role:

As Innovation Offer Manager - Enterprise you will manage a portfolio of offers to increase AppD's market share, capabilities, and footprint in the Enterprise application space. Youll bring your expertise in managing, implementing, or integrating with core ERP business applications such as SAP and IBM, and leverage that knowledge to define competitive new Enterprise and Vertical offers that more highly attach AppDynamics to our customers core business application infrastructure. Youll build business cases and mobilize cross-functional groups to bring these new Enterprise offers to market and evolve existing ones.

Your role is to drive revenue growth at AppDynamics by crafting and optimizing a combination of products, services, and tools into market offers that deliver an experience that exceeds our customers expectations. Your mission is to co-create processes and delivery journeys with partners and delivery organizations in the Sales, Sales Ops, Corp Dev, Strategy, Finance, Legal, Business Systems, Product, and Engineering teams. You will ensure complex interactions between teams, tools, and customers are designed and executed smoothly in order to deliver easily packaged offerings that yield measurable growth.

Once launched, you will be responsible for collecting customer, field sales, and partner feedback on offerings, their respective needs, and formulating strategies to grow the use of offerings. You will transform insights into prioritized actionable programs and improvements to existing offers. You will also be responsible for working with Sales/Sales Ops teams to quantify target customer projections across customer segments, channels, and regions. Youll also handle tradeoff decisions and prioritizations that enhance the overall customer experience and drive our total offer portfolio revenue growth.

As an Offer Manager on the Innovation Labs team you will:

  • Identify strategic innovation opportunities and develop innovative offers for unserved/underserved market demands.

  • Demonstrate a customer obsession when identifying and developing new offers

  • Plan, design and execute discovery pilot programs and innovation work.

  • Develop detailed technical proposals/solutions for AppDynamics innovation demands and work with cross-functional teams to move the offers through the Offer Lifecycle to successful market launch.

  • Identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or measure success.

  • Present to corporate executives and clearly deliver project proposals and detailed work plans.

  • Operate within focused offer team Pods with responsibility of working cross-functionally with teams composed of personnel from various groups.

  • Demonstrate acuity with process innovation and improvement and provide mentorship, skills guidance, and project advice across key stakeholder groups.

  • Conduct and manage quantitative analysis on offer performance.

  • Build relationships and influence business stakeholders to foster effective working relations across the process innovation team and across functional and divisional leaders.

About You:

You demonstrate understanding of core Enterprise Business Applications and leverage that experience to help define disruptive new offer propositions. You develop solid business cases and market assessments driven by comprehensive research. You partner with business and internal/external stakeholders to understand the current Enterprise Application market and identify areas of opportunity. You continuously assess new trends to strengthen your offers market positions and determine how to evolve their strategic roadmap.

You're an excellent communicator and excel at influencing throughout the organization, operating at all levels, and diagnosing an unknown situation quickly. You will possess a strong attention to detail and bring simplified solutions to complex problems - you must be able to bring order to chaos.

What will help you succeed in this role:

  • Bachelors degree required; preferred Bachelor of Science in computer engineering or computer science. An MBA degree is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in business strategy management consulting

  • 5+ years of experience in GTM operations within the software/technology industry, preferably within a SaaS company.

  • 3+ years experience working directly with large enterprise customers

  • Technical knowledge or experience in one or multiple core Enterprise business applications, with priority on SAP and IBM

  • Demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams, including sales account management, business development, product management, product marketing, program management, legal, as well as partner communities

  • Successful experience in business case development / proposal writing / program management / business development / strategic planning.

  • Strong familiarity in Go-to-Market strategy, customer experience design, customer success, and/or market research

  • Passion for designing new processes, collaborative creation, and coalition influence for buy-in

  • Excellent technical writing/speaking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across organizations
