You will be responsible for driving an industry-leading Analyst Relations (AR) program for Ciscos Emerging Tech and Incubation group.
You will engage with Cisco business leaders and ensuring that we communicate a cohesive strategy and story to analysts who cover these areas of our business. You will be running high return on investment outreach programs passionate about strategic engagement and developing long term relationships with the industry analyst community across the globe. You will be encouraged to act as a key strategic advisor to Ciscos business, driving valuable insight, mentorship and feedback back into the business to help advise strategy, business and marketing decisions. You will run the accuracy of Ciscos Emerging Tech and Incubation business in key analyst research reports.
You will be a key member of the Corporate AR Team. You will work with senior executives in the Emerging Tech and Incubation group, as well as their teams. You will work closely with key internal and external partners to develop and deliver programs that improve influencer and customer awareness, consideration and recommendation of Ciscos strategy globally across our portfolio. You will contribute to the Global AR Team, which rolls up into Global Corporate Communications (GCC). You will report to the Corporate AR Team Lead.
You are a leader who puts Cisco first beyond any particular area. You are someone who brings people together to use the expertise of each to get results. You are comfortable at the executive level, working closely with communications and business peers to drive strategy and messaging. You have a strong understanding of business fundamentals and technology. You have excellent presentation skills, and written/verbal communications skills. You have a strong industry analyst relations background as well as experience that demonstrates sound judgment and good instincts. You are smart, respectful, innovative, collaborative, proactive, organized, and accountable. You see opportunities and are keenly passionate about achieving results.
6+ years in Analyst Relations (preferred), Marketing or Communications with a technology focus
BA/BS Degree, Masters a plus
Comfortable developing and delivering presentations
Experience pulling together coordinated communications plans
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and handle change in real time
Ability to move quickly - assess the situation, aggregate data, make a decision and move
Comfortable working with senior level executives
