Defense

The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.


Responsibilities

The ApplicationAnalyst will support the Program Manager and Technicalleads as the lead tool support for the program. They willensure the use of tools and submitted data formats are approved by the Government, validated, compatible with Government tools. The Application Analyst will initialize all Perspecta tools (management and technical) and manage access requests and issues. For access to Government systems, manage the access lists and process to apply for and receive required DoD PKI certs or equivalent access certifications. If the Government is providing access to their tool network, track the licenses required and received/allocated from the Government.Designs, develops and modifies Jira, Confluence and collaboration solutions. Provide accurate technical support and problem resolution for customer and content managers. Support will consist of identifying, researching, and resolving problems and questions pertinent to the use of Collaboration Tools and developing training and usage content. Assist Program Manager and Technical with general program management office support.

If provided, the analyst will track anyGovernment Furnished Equipment (GFE) or Property associated with the contract; Also set up a system to protectGovernment Furnished Information (GFI) provided by the Government to protect third party proprietary information.

General Description: Designs, develops, documents, tests application and collaboration software and systems. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent. Ensures software standards are met. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Assists aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing.

Qualifications

  • Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD. Additional relevant work experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Experience performing tool support to Systems Engineering programs Required
  • JIRA/Confluence administration experience Required
  • ACP-200/600 Certification Preferred
  • Ability to communicate status with leadership at reviews
  • Minimum TS Clearance required
  • Self-motivated, responsible, organized, detail-oriented, quick learner, and a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
  • Requires Top Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
