Perspecta has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agile Coach SME professional with large-scale program experience to support a program for US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS (USACE) REVOLUTIONARY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (RITS) program. As an Agile Coach SMEon a contract under which Perspecta will provide enterprise IT operations support in Chantilly, VA office.

In this role theAgile Coach SME will do the following:

  • In-depth knowledge of Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • An individual who can influence and lead the client through the transformation by providing SAFe training and guidance while building and strengthening the client relationship as they pivot from waterfall to SAFe and Agile.
  • Enabled to deliver scaled agile framework classes (i.e. Leading SAFe, Scrum Master, POPM, SAFe 4Teams).
  • Deliver workshops and training on Scrum & Kanban practices, techniques, and ceremonies.
  • Develop and refine content material as needed for workshops, training, and team coaching sessions. Coach teams on collaboration and backlog creation and prioritization.
  • Pragmatic approach with the ability to adapt based on agile "readiness" of the team you are working with.
  • Acts as a role model for change, transition, learning, and growth. Leads problem solving activities to define problem, assess root causes, and identify solutions leading to desired outcomes.
  • Provides feedback to management at all levels regarding the progress of Agile transformations. Anticipates and identifies issues and provides recommendations to address roadblocks.



  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors degree plus 10+ years of related Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban experience
  • 10 + years of progressive Scrum roles, working in a dynamic global organization
  • 8 + years of experience successfully managing teams and developing team members
  • 6 + years of experience delivering workshops and training on Scrum & Kanban practices, techniques, and ceremonies
  • 6 + years of proven internal and external partners on the senior management level


  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with team lead to prioritize tasks
  • Well-rounded working knowledge of IT concepts and best practices
