Job Description:

This position is on the Retirement Assumptions and Analytics team, within Retirement Actuarial, focused on assumptions development and inforce management for Prudentials growing Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) and Longevity Risk Transfer (LRT) businesses.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
 Assist the development, monitoring, and updating of liability assumptions used for pricing, valuation, and capital management purposes
 Analyze ongoing data updates and quantify impacts to premiums and collateral
 Enhance/streamline existing processes, models, and management exhibits with a focus on controls and consistency
 Develop and enhance analytics to help management better understand drivers of results
 Collaborate with business partners on new LRT transactions to understand any unique benefit features to implement in collateral models, perform comprehensive data reconciliations, and report on ongoing collateral requirements
 Support adhoc projects and processes for new products and new business implementation
 Be an active participant in Prudentials actuarial community



Qualifications
@!*!

 Bachelors degree required, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other highly quantitative field
 Actuarial internship preferred
 Ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments under challenging time frames
 Completion of actuarial exams are a plus, particularly Exam MLC
 Highly motivated, innovative, and creative problem solver and conceptual thinker who is able to work independently or in a team
 Superior technical skills and ability to understand complex quantitative concepts and models
 Strong command of Microsoft Excel
 Knowledge of or exposure to SQL, VBA macros, and Python preferred
