What youll do

As a Workstream Lead on the Customer and Partner Readiness Team you will help define, implement and enable a best-in-class experience for acquired customers & partners as they transition from conducting their business with the acquired company to transacting business with Cisco. This will include: analyzing acquired and Cisco GTM data, defining customer segmentation, developing customer & partner transition strategies, migrating contractual relationships, onboarding, training and communications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Customer & Partner Readiness Workstream for multiple deals by meeting all methodology and workstream deliverables for acquisition integration, through diligence, integration planning and execution.
  • Solve complex, cross-functional business problems and identify root causes for customer and partner transition issues.
  • Develop and lead change strategies to facilitate customer & partner transitions
  • Conduct lessons learned and identify process improvement opportunities for deals. Partner with the methodology team to provide process improvements recommendations for customer & partner readiness workstream and methodology. Support adoption efforts for any changes.

This role requires travel and off-hour flexibility to support acquisition integration requirements.

In this role, you will work with the Sales, Channels, Customer Experience, Legal, Operations, the Integration Management Office, and other cross-functional teams within Cisco and at the acquired companies to create and execute a holistic plan for the customer and partner migration to Cisco.

You possess the following skills:

  • Ability to lead your workstream, cross-functional teams, and partner with other workstreams to develop and execute complex programs. Ability to navigate within functional teams and across the organization, manage multiple complex projects and deal with a high degree of ambiguity. Ability to prioritize and manage competing requirements from various teams, keeping all apprised of status in sufficient time to adjust plans if needed rather than compromise results.
  • Ability to understand and articulate Go-To-Market & Offer strategies as well as Operational, Sales, Service, Channels, and Legal plans. Ability to tie activities directly to business outcomes that drive value from our acquisitions.
  • Ability to develop strategy, objectives and project plans to solve complex business problems. Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, communicate those results in a timely and effective manner, combined with the ability to know when to bring in executive leadership to gain support.
  • Extensive written and verbal communications skills. Ability to articulate complex problems in a simplified way. Ability to gather and communicate the complex technical and business issues clearly & succinctly.
  • Ability to articulate leading edge, value-added best practices. Ability to react quickly and effectively to the dynamic business environment, identify roadblocks early and provide leadership to amend plans focus to keep the team on track.
  • Expert at leading meetings and teams to develop strategies, solve problems and execute detailed plans. Ability to work cross-functionally in an environment of change.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers and management built on rapport but also built on delivery results and willingness to hold one another accountable for results.
  • Ability to implement and drive adoption new strategies and plans.
  • Ability to educate and persuade key stakeholders for value of strategies. Ability to solve complex problems and drive performance of the teams. Negotiation and decision-making skills, coupled with sound judgment.
  • Identify areas of opportunities to improve processes and take the initiative to implement.

Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of the following fields: sales, channels, legal, product management, or customer success.
  • Experience in Acquisition Integration or Divestitures a plus.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.
  • BS/BA degree completed or in process plus 5-8 years business experience
