What You'll Do

As a CX Architect you will support a unique role in the CX Technology & Transformation Group (TTG).  You will be responsible for LEADING customer engagements focused on planning, design and implementation services for customers adopting Ciscos emerging Data Center solutions, specifically ACI environments.  You will support internal deliverables (such as workflow documentation, development of processes, templates and tools, or delivery of training) to help increase CX-wide adoption of ACI and possibly other Data Center solutions. 

At times there may be significant customer interaction required, and you may travel 25 50% of the time, depending on the project.

You will support complex Data Center solutions for customers based on requirements gathering sessions you have facilitated.  You will create high level and low level designs, MOPs, configurations and other deliverables as needed.

Who You'll Work With

As an Architect, you will report directly into the CX Technology & Transformation Group (TTG) Data Center Team.  Youll work with directly with customers, with your peers and with several different groups including CX Theatres and CX Centers to help deliver customer and internal projects, driving ACI adoption.


Who You Are

You are a strategic leader with a depth of experience successfully driving transformation customer projects.  You can assess the existing environment and accurately anticipate the requirements of our customers 12-24 months. You have proficiency in strategizing and delivering transformational ACI & Data Center projects & programs.  You possess strong interpersonal skills, are an active listener capable of synthesizing high level information.

This is a U.S. based role only.  Relocation is not available at this time.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Youve achieved a BS, CS, or University degree equivalent and 6+ years relevant experience in network engineering
  2. CCIE or relevant 5 years experience
  3. Expertise with ACI, Nexus and other DC product families
  4. Have led a variety of ACI & Data Center projects including planning, design and implementation
  5. You demonstrate strong consultative skills in gaining understanding of customer business challenges and engaging in joint problem solving
  6. Must possess strong leadership, customer relationship and account management skills (engaging personality
(1) Minimum 3 years experience within Customer Experience / Professional Services

(2) Customer facing consultative experience

(3) Strong understanding of Data Center environments - Experience with L4-L7 (load balancing, firewalls, OpenStack, and UCS)

(4) Strong understanding of ACI environments and ability to plan, design and implement complex deployments

(5) Strong understanding of automation and tooling (programming languages i.e. Python)
