Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 8-10 years of professional experience or Master's Degree plus 6-8 years of professional experience or PhD plus 3-5 years of professional experience is required
• CPA License is required
• Experience with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is required
• Advanced Excel proficiency is required
• Technical accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Financial reporting experience is strongly preferred
• Government contracting industry experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with Costpoint or another accounting system is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring for a Technical Accounting Supervisor opportunity that will be based out of our Chantilly, VA office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure compliance with implementation of newly issued GAAP accounting pronouncements.
• Work with project finance teams on proper revenue recognition and compliance with other accounting rules.
• Research GAAP and write accounting position papers.
