Job Description

This person contributes to PBCs success by performing tasks that achieve accuracy of accounting and reporting of National Fountain results. This includes accounting for PLTP funding process, maintenance/management of multiyear upfront system, cash flow forecasting, and ownership and testing of SOX and operational controls.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare commission billing for PLTP Tea bags
  • Prepare Joint Venture cross charges and reporting
  • Maintain and manage UPM (Upfront Payment Management) to provide financial oversight of multi-year upfronts payments to National customers
  • Perform Multiyear upfront Cash Flow Forecast
  • Perform Period, Quarterly, and Year-end Closings:
    • Journal Entries (SAP)
    • Q-Schedules
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations

Additional Support Tasks and Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Manager with analyzing National Fountain business results, including analytics and other ad hoc requests
  • Prepare customer reporting upon requests
  • Participate in special projects to improve overall National Fountain processes

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required (MBA/CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Proficient in Excel, SAP, BW and Business Objects and/or able to learn new systems quickly and thoroughly
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to see bigger picture
