Cisco Collaboration and Enterprise Network Account manager

Cisco Collab Account manager requirements and desired skills:

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience (Account manager, Systems Engineer, Product specialist etc) in Enterprise or Service Provider
  • Working knowledge of at least 1 of: Video collaboration hardware and software (preferred), enterprise networking, Security, Wifi, and EAs
  • Track record of driving strategic engagements between BU leaders and customer (examples: Custom or feature acceleration, codev programs a major plus)
  • Ability to create a long term vision of success and lead internal teams and mapping solutions toward success in solving customer technical and business challenges.
  • Active listening skills, precise and efficient communication to deeply understand customer care-abouts and foster alignment among large and strong team of co-workers
  • Self-motivated to learn the competitive environment, and construct effective messaging to displace competition
  • Interest or ability to creatively leverage Cisco financial tools to engineer and negotiate effective win-win commercial situations with customer (Cisco Finance, advanced services, trade ins, bundled offeres, SAAS, HAAS)
  • Curiosity to understand technology to understand use cases, purposes of specific features, and how to assign value to Cisco products and services
  • Executive presence and ability for effective communication at highest Cisco and customer levels.
