Responsibilities

Primary point of contact to manage program/engagement. Develops current accounts of major significance. Establishes long-term strategic plans for retaining and growing the accounts. Builds relationships with the key users and decision makers. Negotiates pricing and conducts rate reviews and resolves disputes related to billing. Regularly conducts strategic account reviews to review service needs. Gathers market and competitor information to identify business trends, forecast demand and prepare the annual budget. Conducts reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate clients demands and usage of account; determine types of services/products and prices/fees satisfying the clients needs as well as the organizations objectives. Develops and maintains a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers within the organization. Ensures that clients know to use the services and provide assistance if necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 16+ years of experience or a Master's with 14+ years of experience.

Strong account management and customer relationship skills, especially with IT Outsourcing engagements. Recognized industry specialist with technical insight in multiple fields and disciplines. Complexity of work is state of the art and may be new to the Company and to the industry. Serves as consultant to the business unit in long-range planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. Is instrumental in attracting/obtaining major new business. Must have managed a large data center consisting of midrange servers. Must have managed multiple service providers.

Prior experience to include:

  • Managed P&L over $50M annually
  • Managed over 100+ individuals
  • Managed a data center
  • Managed large complex environments
  • Managed multiple vendors
  • ITIL certification is desirable
  • Completed a prior outsourcing or transition including the rebadging of employees is desirable
