What You'll Do
Cisco Service Provider business (NTTdocomo team) seeks an Account Manager with proven field sales experience and strong background in Telco/Service Providers. This is a high-touch account management role that includes but not limited to responsibilities in customer relationship management, partner sales management, non-standard deal management, business development/marketing, funnel/pipeline management and technology/solution selling skills.
Primary expectation is to build strong franchises and sustainable business with Ciscos architecture plays in assigned accounts in Japan spanning fixed, wireless, security and DC/Cloud technologies. Positioning and promoting the partner value proposition, driving the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships in assigned Telco/Service Provider accounts is prime to this role.
Focus on an outstanding customer experience and become your customers trusted advisor.
Own and develop the Cisco Account Management Business Plan.
Orchestrate cross-functional team members to deliver complete business solutions.
Work closely with the Cisco teams including SP-Japan account teams looking after your customers headquarters, to drive the strategy and delivery of new solutions, products and services.
Plan and execute the sales strategy in order to meet the agreed milestones and timescales and to ensure that sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly forecasts, weekly commits and pipeline development reports.
Anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, customer needs and requirements that could impact the overall revenue target.

Be part of this highly energized Global Service Provider team, as we drive the critical market and digital transformation in the Service Provider business. As a key person of our account team, you will collaborate closely with commercial, technical, marketing individuals and product specialists in country and across the regions/globally to accelerate the impact of Cisco business across your assigned customers/accounts/territories.
Who You Are
Experience in Selling to Telcos / Service providers.
Proficient in selling solutions to large customers with a deep understanding of Telco buying cycles.
Ability to match customer needs with state of the art technology solutions and partners to deliver them.
Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Language proficiency in Japanese and English.
Education to degree level or equivalent practical experience.
Self-starter with the ability to learn and position technology/solution plays in view of driving the appropriate conversations with Telco/Service Providers with clear business agenda in sight.
Team focused and able to collaborate with local, regional and corporate teams in a large cross-functional organization.
Can do, will do attitude and able to think outside the box to contribute creatively towards building solid business pipeline and driving sustainable business.
