The candidate must be able to develop strong working relationships with CenturyLink and work closely with Cisco Account Managers, Architects, and Engineers to ensure alignment of sales strategies for Mass-scale Infrastructure technology and overall Cisco. Additionally, the Account Manager must be able to engage resources, including the Business Units, Global Sales Specialist, marketing and Cisco Partners to drive the overall growth of the technology within their assigned territory.

Who You Are

You will have a minimum of 10+ yearsaccountmanagement experience focused on a targeted customer segment or similar companies, working in a fast-growing High Technology Company. All actions must be a part of a complete business plan which allows the successful candidate to meet and exceed assigned quota. Extensive knowledge of Cisco routing, switching and automation solutions is essential for the role. A successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of competitors. Candidates should have a proven track record in managing large complex accounts, capabilities that include sales strategy, opportunity discovery, forecasting, quota attainment, excellent sales presentation skills, and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management skills. Strong spoken and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should display strong time management skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks and opportunities, and generate product demand at large scale. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of success in sales and sales leadership, corresponding strong sales process.

Skills required:

Track record of selling large and complex technology solutions with specific focus on driving business outcomes for clients led through Services

Self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, articulate product and business strategies, create demand and close deals

Good base knowledge of client business models is necessary

Knowledge of and a contact network in the target customer, as well as insight into issues and trends affecting the customer and their industry sectors

Ability to lead a virtual team from the various lines of business within Cisco Systems including Inside Sales, Systems Engineering, Consultant Systems Engineering, Field and Product Marketing, Product Management and Business Unit
