What You'll Do
You will be responsible for effectively selling into one of our large  Service Provider customers, seeking Service Provide and IT technology experience. Customer engagement ranges from SVP level executives to individual contributor Engineers and Architects. Solutions range from  Collaboration, Security and Mobility. This will require strategic planning in conjunction with the product, operations, and engineering teams in their respective groups. You will have a background of large strategic wins, ability to work with diverse customers (internal and external) with varying needs and a consistent record of exceeding defined goals.

You will work with cross-functional teams (Business Units, Services, Partners, etc.) and strategically engage a variety of resources to achieve their goals and hit their numbers. You will also work with Product Engineering Teams in crafting coordinated solutions that address complex problems with a focus on the Cisco value proposition.


Who You Are
The key performance traits for this role include:
  • Service Provider experience with Cisco technology (Collaboration, Security, Mobility)
  • Customer Focused- Driving Business Relevant /Customer Value, Strategic Account Planning, Business Disciplines and Challenger (and other) Sales strategies while ensuring alignment of individual defined goals and larger team priorities.
  • Driving Sales Achievement - Passionate about account and resource planning and allocation to drive sales attainment numbers. Accurately forecasting your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams; driving profitable growth.
  • Financial Acumen & Performance - Analyzing your customer's financials to understand their challenges. Assessing consumption models needs per customer. Driving business planning and goal attainment.
  • One Winning Team Engagement - Efficiently facilitating and strategically engaging cross functional resources to achieve financial and other defined goals.
  • Awesome Customer Relationships and Leading Innovation - Building strong customer relationships that challenge the customer to see their business differently.
  • Building Winning Capability within Cisco - collaboratively giving to the long-term success of Cisco through shared methodologies and team-building activitie. Consistently pursuing to improve and reinvent yourself.
  • Aptitude for aligning Cisco Solutions to Customer initiatives.
In Addition, you must be/have:
Aggressive self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco's product and business strategies, build demand and drive revenue. Must have experience with Cisco's technology, i.e.;(Collaboration, Security and Mobility)

  • Confirmed knowledge of working with complex technical solutions including calling on key decision makers and all other technical and business influencers.
  • The ability to negotiate solutions and resolve issues with peers, partners and customers employing a Win/Win philosophy.
  • An ability to work with Product Engineering Teams in crafting coordinated solutions that address complex problems with a focus on the Cisco value proposition.
  • Should have keen ability to position turnkey solutions and articulate primary vendor strategies to senior customer Executives.
  • Validated experience in processes for successful account management including forecasting, quota over achievement, sales presentations, short term, mid-term and long-term opportunity management.
  • Requires a minimum BA degree or equivalent and 5+ years Account Management experience in a dynamic, high-technology environment, prefer collaboration, security or mobility experience/knowledge.
