As an Account Manager at Cisco, youll manage a line of business with one of our largest customers.  You will target opportunities by segment and use available resources to aggressively pursue these opportunities. You'll have a "hunter" mentality, while at the same time exhibiting strategic sales acumen and build strong relationships with customers.

Who you are

  • You have the ability to deliver business value to both End Users and Partners. Strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customers business drivers and align to Cisco solutions.
  • You demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
  • You're an ambitious self-starter with ability articulate Cisco product and business strategies and create the demand to complete the deal.
  • You will be able to work within an extended team to execute against a sales strategy, lead large complex deals and position the business value of IT solutions to CIOs You and business leaders within your account(s)
  • BS / BA or equivalent preferred
  • Formal training in sales techniques preferable
  • Demonstrable experience selling complex solutions
  • Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
  • Ability to work well with team members and collaborate effectively across the extended account team or teams.
  • Previous experience of the Enterprise segment is helpful
  • Displays Focus, Negotiation Skills, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Decision-making Business English, other languages may be an advantage.
  • You have a Hunter mentality.  Go identify net-new opportunities and drive them to closure.
