In this position, MCBU will provide opportunity to work on validating 5G packet core solutions in a cloud native environment with Control, User Plan separation.
The MCBU mobile packet core solution is comprised of a series of products that together form one of the most powerful offerings in the industry. These solutions address most mobile packet core requirements across all generations of network functionality 4G and 5G. The Cisco solution is open, standards based, and can be deployed flexibly in a virtual or conventional configuration.
You will work with a passionate team of Engineering specialists in mobility solutions, Who are well versed with 4G, 5G packet core technologies and deployments in both virtualized and non-virtualized solutions.
Build 5G Cloud native test solution in a virtualized environment with end to end understanding of 5G Network functions and protocols
You have exposure to customer deployment models and configuration of large mobile packet core solutions
You have worked on System/performance/solution testing of 4G (PGW, MME, SGW) or 5G Packet core solutions(SMF, AMF, UPF) or CUPS (Control, User plane Separation)
You are Proactive, self-driven, excellent outstanding teammate and should be flexible to work on any assigned tasks and adjust to changing business priorities and plans.
You have 5+ years of Industry experience in Mobile packet core technologies with a System testing or deployment background.
You have System/solution/performance test background.
Skills:
A suitable candidate need to match below criteria.
Work Experience in validating 4G or 5G Mobile Packet core technologies.
Configuring and troubleshooting L2/L3 Switches and routers.
Experience in bringing up Openstack, VMWare based test setups.
Interest & Passion in Automation and scripting language using Python and Machine Learning.
System/solution/performance test experience is well suited for this profile.
Certification in Kubernetes, Exposure to Grafana and Prometheus is an added advantage.
