Our customers look for products across multiple journeys and access points within our retail ecosystem. The Walmart customer experience team sits at the center of this. As our assortment grows rapidly, we see new and increasing challenges every day from improving relevance to offering a fast access to top products to increasing efficiency. Manager's Ideal Candidate Must-Haves Identify and understand opportunities and define vision and strategy Understand customer needs and gather requirements Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule Develop and launch the feature/project Communicate effectively and present/share the launch story Department Summary The Customer Experience team lives on the front line of e-commerce innovation. This collaborative team, made up of engineering, UX, product management, along with web and technology evangelists, is rapidly iterating new products and site features at scale. We deliver high performing solutions - from our next gen front-end platform (node.js and react.js) to our best-in-class backend payments platform which powers web, mobile and API solutions. Continuous innovation and immediate feedback by billions of customers make this work incredibly exciting Position Description As a Product Manager, you will interact and work with cross-functional teams across the company including design, analytics, of course engineering, merchants, tools, catalog and more. You will define and deliver a key project that improves our core KPIs and makes shopping easy and fast for busy customers. You will own the project end-to-end. Minimum Qualifications Currently in the first year of a fulltime MBA program with background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Experience with product management or product design with a focus on software products and technologies Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Additional Preferred Qualifications Analytical and solution-oriented background, with structured problem-solving capabilities and teamwork skills Experience building retail products, and knowledge of eCommerce and internet Experience with managing products for software developers and development experience using various desktop and mobile app frameworks Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing; understanding of go-to-market commerce enablers Able to prioritize complex deliverables, have highly technical discussions, and run large meetings with technical and business leadersCity:SAN BRUNOState:CAPosition Description:Walmart is the largest retailer in the world with over $500bn in revenue and it continues to grow and expand throughout the world.
