Who You Are

As a CXDM Coordinator, your primary role is to ensure that all CX Offer development follows the CXDM end-to-end governance process. You are the one that can see the forest - and all the various types of trees in it. You facilitate and guide the decision making on release type governance (Major, Minor, EOS/EOL), including the accuracy of deliverable templates required. Once the release type governance type is defined, you are primarily accountable to support the CX Product Manager and Program Manager to establish the core team, PAC approvers, and VAP approvers as required based on the release scope. You will work with key core team members, collaborators, and functional business leaders to accomplish this. Success in the role requires you to understand end-to-end CXDM governance requirements which includes usage of templates, collateral, tools, and additional training as required to support users across the Cisco business. Required skills, knowledge, and certification includes a working understanding of the CX Product Portfolio, CX Product Management, and PMP certification.


  • Evaluate CXDM Intake Form submissions and resolve release type
  • End-to-end user guide and support to Product Manager and Program Manager throughout the CXDM governance
  • Drive ongoing engagement and alignment with functional business teams, solicit and implement continuous process improvements and simplification
  • Inspect and adapt CXDM processes and operating model regularly based on user feedback and experience
  • Set the culture and tone for how the Core Four team members interact
  • Identify and communicate program processes and operating model
  • Establish and operate ways to uphold continuous, clear 2-way communication within the program team
  • Establish and operate ways to maintain open communication with key program constituents and team members
  • Drive efficient decision-making for the program and communicate decisions to program team, program constituents, and collaborators
  • Build and lead VAP approvals including ensuring all required approvers are included and voter concerns have been addressed
  • Ultimate accountable owner for audits of Quip tables and data entry at the end of each phase gate

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Own the business outcome of projects, apply fanatic attention to details, and exhibit dedicated follow through until the job is done accurately
  • Detailed understanding of project management processes and lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a multifaceted environment
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; Able to work well in a multi-functional, matrix management environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft office suite, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Quip
  • Hands-on experience working within project teams and implementing technology projects
  • Excellent knowledge of developing a project plan including timelines and optimally leading a project team
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies like Scrum, Waterfall and Agile including familiarity with PMBOK
  • PMI certification is highly desirable
  • Result-oriented and highly efficient working both independently and within a team to complete multiple deliverables
  • Consistent track record of building motivated, collaborative and productive teams, including remote team members
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes with an ability to adapt as needed
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while being flexible and responding to changing business and technical conditions

  • Be the ambassador for CXDM to all collaborators
  • Be a skilled problem-solver who applies reframing and rethinking in order to turn problems into opportunities for progress. Demonstrable ability to with work with ambiguous situations, and manage a team to arrive at an execution plan with detail orientation
  • Be cordial and punctual (start and end on time) during your meetings with collaborators
  • Show up prepared for your meetings with all vital items (agenda, problem statement/meeting objective, definition of success, PPT, questions, FAQs. etc)
  • Be willing to give your ego a day off and help others within the CXDM community
  • Consistently show respect and understanding towards all members of the Cisco community
  • Be proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented
