What Youll Do


The PLM Operations & Services group resides within the Product Operations Central team which delivers values to the business using lifecycle management framework by enabling PLM excellence through engagement and governance model, driving accountability and optimization through PLM Operations and Service metrics and implementing the unified PLM operations to standardize, scale and incubate new business and service model. The PLM Services Team acts as the catalyst for managing PLM global business policies, processes and implementing the PLM Metrics governance to add business value through consistency, flexibility and simplicity for Product Operations.


Your core responsibilities will include:


  • Interlock across PO Services (HW, SW, Offer, Data) for all key services provided
  • Build master catalog/blueprint of business processes, policies, key services across the lifecycle
  • Establish audit process, framework for driving and validating compliance to business processes and policies
  • Manage PLM global business policies and processes
  • Build & compile metrics, drive scorecard visibility for rollup of product and BU metrics performance
  • Work across adjacent SCO services teams for sensing of new capabilities, driving improvements in service performance
  • Run Product Operations quarterly business reviews
  • People Management/Leadership skills to lead a small team

You will collaborate with various Supply Chain functions, Business Entity (BE) Vertical leads, and various other cross-functional teams to support the end-to-end PLM operations and Services.


Who You Are


Are you looking to take your experience to the next level with a PLM Operations and Service leadership role? We are looking for a highly motivated PLM Operations and Service Manager to join the Product Operations Central team. You will manage PLM global business policies and processes including establishing audit & compliance process and will work across SCO services teams for driving improvements in service performance.

Your ability to analyze metrics/data and come up with an effective and efficient governance plan are key to your success. Your collaborative style enables you to manage metrics performance, governance and team expectations. Most importantly, you are a leader and advocate of PLM excellence through engagement and governance model.


Minimum Qualifications


  • BS or equivalent plus 6+ NPI/Product lifecycle and Program/Project experience.
  • End-to-End project management experience in Supply Chain preferred.
  • Business Unit experience in New Product Introduction/Product Operations with deep knowledge of the product lifecycle management process from concept to FCS
  • Experience in PLM processes, Agile PDM systems, various Supply Chain metrics, Service framework and governance process
  • Understand Hardware and Software sourcing and fulfillment strategies
  • Outstanding organization skills and proven follow-through on actions and activities
  • Excellent Leadership/People management skills including communication and influencing

Desired Skills:


  • Technical or MS degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Cisco Systems PLM process, Product Operations/Supply chain metrics
  • Resolving concerns & ensuring the compliance when individuals, groups, or collaborators not compliant to defined PLM processes.
  • Regular monitoring, publishing and reviewing the metrics across various functions.
