What You'll Do

You will join CX Finance as a Finance Manager to lead all aspects of renewal sales finance in partnership with the Americas Renewals Leaders. You will be responsible for:


Financial Capabilities

  • Partner with Renewal Managers to assess process and data gaps; collaborate with FP&A, Operations, and Data & Analytics team to bridge those gaps.
  • Build written documentation on process flow, metric definitions, data sources; use them to educate the Renewal Managers and Sales communities.

Business Support

  • Produce business-impacting analytics to assess risks/opportunities and drive forecast accuracy on a short- and long-term basis.
  • Perform renewal rate analysis to identify drivers impacting Y/Y change and provide a business narrative on performance variance and Y/Y change.
  • Perform Seller Efficiency and Expense-to-Bookings analysis to influence the optimization of account coverage models.
  • Prepare presentation-quality analyses to support business interlocks, e.g., QBR, new year readiness, strategy planning, etc.

Goaling & Commissions

  • Execute node-level goal assignment including target modeling, leadership review/sign off, and detailed uploads.
  • Educate Renewals Managers on ATR-based targeting methodologies and assumptions and perform analysis and data audit to resolve goaling issues.
  • Assess individual overachievements and recommend necessary adjustments in compliance with the Corporate Comp Assurance policy.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Execute weekly reporting and forecast with Renewal Leaders and Managers, attend CX and Sales forecast calls to provide insight into trends impacting the Renewals business.
  • Handle month-end and quarter-end close activities to meet deliverables deadlines.
  • Evolve the opportunities-based forecasting method. Lead improvement to the end-to-end process to enable the Renewals Managers.
  • Resolve reporting issues with Sales Finance, FP&A, and Sales Motion Reporting team and Partner with Operations to develop and implement SFDC practices.

You will partner with Renewals Managers, Sales Finance Controllers, CX Operations Managers, CX FP&A, Sales Motion Reporting and Data & Analytics teams.

You can rapidly adapt to changes in a transformation environment and have outstanding interpersonal and time management skills. Dedicated teammate and willing and able to produce high-quality work products consistently.


Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. MBA and/or certification a plus. 10+ years of meaningful experience in a Sales Finance or FP&A environment.
  • Strong command of complex data modeling using Microsoft Excel, such as the utilization of pivot tables, vlookup, hlookup, sumif, sumifs, countif, if/and/or.
  • Ability lead live Webex meetings and perform on-the-spot data analysis.
  • Capability to transform large data sets into digestible summaries and the ability to explain complex concepts to a wide audience.
  • Familiarity with finance tools (Business Objects, Salesforce.com, MBR, Cisco Ready)
