    The Sous Chef will be responsible for providing leadership in the administration and the management within a food service environment at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

    • Supervise and guide kitchen employees
    • Ensure that all food service standards and quality requirements are met
    • Menu planning, ordering and inventory
    • All aspects of catering management
    • Hands on food preparation and serving when needed
    • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are followed
    • Ensure operation’s level of  profitability and client satisfaction
    • Training and development of more than 100 employees


    • Minimum two years management experience in a fast paced food service operation
    • Experience working in an environemnt geneating more than $3 million in revenue 
    • Chef papers or very strong cooking capabilities required
    • Strong communication & supervisory skills
    • Good knowledge of company policies & procedures
    • Good knowledge of corporate marketing & promotional programs
    • Good computer knowledge (MS WORD and Excel)
    • Experience in menu costing, menu planning and food preparation
    • ServSafe training an asset
    • Health & Safety  Certification an asset
    • Demonstrates strong financial/analytical abilities
    • Unioinized expience would be considered an asset
