Description:

Prudential’s Workplace Solutions Group (WSG) is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst, who has extensive experience in wealth management, retirement readiness and workplace benefits domains. The Analyst is expected to quickly and adaptively evolve their understanding of adjacent or new business domains and the associated opportunities and challenges. This will enable them to assist senior-level business and technology stakeholders in making informed decisions about which activities or initiatives to prioritize. In addition to ensuring that the correct requirements are captured, the Analyst will have a role in making sure the design implemented is optimal, both from an experience perspective as well as value for money. The Analyst will be required to carry out analysis across different domains and technologies as the need arises. As a result, candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to expand their business knowledge and to learn and deploy solutions\technologies\application\systems both quickly and comprehensively. Experience working in an Agile development lifecycle is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with all stakeholders to define the scope and priorities.

  • Engage (elicitation workshops, etc.) with all stakeholders to determine, document and validate business and user requirements using relevant and applicable techniques (e.g. user stories & acceptance criteria, business rules, use cases, process flows, etc.).

  • Engage with all stakeholders to create, define and validate business functional & non-functional requirements.

  • Experience using technologies such as salesforce.com to rapidly prototype, create views, dashboards, reports, and various workflows where applicable is a plus.

  • Act as the conduit, 'enabling bridge' and knowledge source between the business stakeholders and IT\Operations, effectively communicating requirements and the knowledge gained throughout projects.

  • Inform, support and verify the User Interface wireframes\design process.

  • Define system to system interface requirements where applicable.

  • Support and inform the Development, QA and UAT phases.

 

The Analyst will have a sufficient understanding of systems and technology to be able to engage and communicate effectively with UI Designers, Developers, System Architects and QA regarding requirements.

 


  • BS degree or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in modern web and mobile technologies.

  • Ability to develop high-quality requirements as required within scheduled time-frame and budget.

  • The ideal candidate should have a proven record as a business analyst in wealth management, retirement readiness, and/or workplace benefits domains,

  • Should have experience in implementing behavioral finance, A/B testing etc. approaches in an Agile, “Test & Learn” context

  • Experience working in an Agile methodology is a must.

  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a challenging environment handling the management of issues in a calm, professional and controlled manner.

  • Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and a desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.

  • Ability to direct, moderate and negotiate groups.
