Role Description:
  • The ISG Projection Capabilities team is looking for a problem-solver who regularly taps into their natural curiosity and desire to “tinker” to drive innovation. Examples of opportunities the team regularly tackles are translating complex business needs into process redesign, building of models, and development of various other solutions to meet our stakeholders’ needs.
  • The ISG Projection Capabilities team is responsible for ensuring the delivery of mission critical Actuarial modeling capabilities for Enterprise objectives as they pertain to ISG Projections; such as Deterministic Projection Capabilities, asset and liability projections, and other ad-hoc project-based or analytical work with material financial impacts.
  • The role is responsible for engaging in multiple workstreams in a matrix environment across multiple functions; including Modeling, Finance, ESS, and within Projections
  • The role is responsible for active participation in prioritization, strategic planning, and contributing to workstream deliverables
  • The role is responsible for contributing to requirements and performing testing with the goal of clearly articulating ISG projection capability needs and usability to various stakeholders; including Projections senior leaders and matrix partner peers

Role Requirements:
  • Ability to learn quickly with regards to various aspects of Actuarial projections and the capabilities needed to produce them
    • Actuarial modeling and data management software
      • GGY and SQL a plus
    • Product features
    • Actuarial balances across some subset of accounting bases
    • Financial Statements
    • Risk Management Frameworks
  • Ability to engage matrix partners and contribute to key team deliverables with minimal guidance from direct manager
  • Ability to help define capability requirements
  • Ability to verify expectations have been met through business value oriented testing
