Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times and other duties as assigned.
The Clinical Leader role is a full time position, 5 day a week, varied hours. This position requires flexibility of schedule to accommodate the pm shift and weekend shifts. Hours are flexed to meet the demands of unit needs and facility needs in collaboration with the service line Director/Supervisor.
Required: High school education or equivalent
Required: Current BLS, ACLS
Required: Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing and current RN licensure in Florida
Required: Exceptional typing and word processing skills.
Required: BSN; Master’s preferred
Recommended: Specialty certification within one year
Required: 5 years experience in specialty. One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
