Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE:

The associate in this position takes high level resolution cases, escalated customer resolution issues, escalated distribution center inquiries and special projects/assignments at the direction of the Manager.   Provides excellent customer service via active listening and professional communication. Identifies, categorizes and resolves root causes of customer and/or distribution center issues including technical support.  Takes ownership of customer and/or distribution center issues and provides complete end to end issue resolution by utilizing resources available. Reports directly to Manager.



MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • 45%- Customer interaction involving inbound customer concerns and their resolution. 
  • 45%- Reviewing warranty claims with OEM's to recover warranty revenue. 
  • 10%- Special projects and other activities as assigned by leadership.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

  • Reports to a Supervisor, Repair Center. 
  • This position has no direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience
:
3 years

Physical Requirements:

Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior warranty claims experience and call center a plus
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Customer Service & Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent follow up and sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
