Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services. We specialize in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. We help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life. The Therapist Compass Outpatient Program  

Key Responsibilities include:

  • The Therapist plans, provides, coordinates, documents, and evaluates direct and indirect social services to patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital and program
  • Services provided include but are not limited to the following: psychosocial assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, case management, treatment planning, rounding with clinical staff, attending/conducting unit and hospital meeting, discharge/care planning and follow-up, resource development/assistance, and serving as a member on various committees. 
  • The Therapist further contributes to the program through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts and Quality Management efforts.

Job Requirements

Preferred: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university; a current Mississippi license as a LCSW, LMSW, or LPC; and two years experience in an in-patient psychiatric setting.

Minimum: Degree from an accredited college or university and a current Mississippi license as an LCSW, LMSW, LPC or license eligible.
