Cisco Meraki is seeking a highly entrepreneurial Distribution Account Manager to help rapidly scale our business through our distribution channel across Japan. You will be responsible for generating passion and enthusiasm for Cisco Meraki amongst our distributor and partner community, fostering a desire to sell our products, problem solving with our operations team to enable smooth transactions, and driving partner-led revenue.

You will also work closely with the inside sales, field sales, marketing, training and operations teams to build strong partnerships in new and existing channels.

This position is full time and based in Japan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support and strengthen relationships with executives, sales, marketing, and operations in our distributors.
  • Implement business development and marketing plans with assigned distributors to drive exceptional revenue growth with our 2-tier partners.
  • Coordinate and conduct sales and technical training for distributors and our 2-Tier partners to drive capability deep into the channel
  • Collaborate with the APJC Channel and Distribution teams to support the overall growth of our channel
  • Effectively communicate programs, promotions, and product launches effectively across Cisco and distributors to maximise the impact of key initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of effectiveness and over-performance in sales or partner management role
  • 5+ Years’ experience in channel management, IT distribution or channel sales. Software/SaaS experience will be highly regarded.
  • Autonomous, team-player, hard-worker, self-motivated, multi-tasking and influential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Able to travel 50% of time
  • University Degree preferred
  • Fluent in Japanese
