    Customer Support Specialist (Full-Time)

     

    Sodexo is hiring a full-time Customer Support Specialist to work out of its corporate office in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  The Specialist will primarily be responsible for day-to-day customer service operation of Sodexo’s BALANCEtrak system- Frontline Application System through either email or telephone communications. The Customer Support Specialist will document and track internal and external interactions as well as escalate system issues to the Project Manager.  The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position.

     

    General Responsibilities:

    • Responds to customer service support call/emails from managers within 24 hours (40 %)
      • Verifies Sodexo employee credential and provide access to BALANCEtrak
      • Verifies and creates Unit in the BALANCEtrak system
      • Informs Project Manager of any technical problems identified/made aware of by users
      • Identifies needs and makes recommendations for quality improvement that creates perceived value to customers.
    • Responds to customer service support call/emails from Job Seekers (40%)
    • Audits and maintains active users in BALANCEtrak weekly and monthly (10%)
    • Maintains a method to document, track and research customer input. (5%)
    • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. (5%)

     

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • High School diploma/G.E.D. equivalent.
    • 2-3 years of customer service experience.
    • Intermediate level in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Recruiting experience, a plus.

     

     

    Position Summary

    Serves as a direct point of contact for customers. Responsible for ensuring customers receive an adequate level of service with their questions, concerns and/or issues. Answers/responds to routine questions and inquiries from customers via the telephone, Internet, fax and other technologies, using established fact-finding procedures, customer service methodologies, knowledge of pertinent processes and procedures, and familiarity with policies, vendors and specified products/services.  Consults with or transfers more difficult issues to the Rep II or management.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
